There is a set time, an appointed time to begin to put feet to what you are called to do. That time is now, not some time in the future. God sets the times and seasons in our life. We must discern them properly and move accordingly. The church that operates in the Kingdom of God is positioned for greatness. We have heard all we need to hear to get moving. Things just don’t happen because we want them to. Faith has to be mixed with works. James 2:17 says Even so faith, if it has not works it is dead being alone. We as believers have to be proactive, intentional, and focused daily. The Apostle Paul states in I Corinthians 4:20 that the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power. The Lord does not give you wealth, but gives you the power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8: 18) What is the power to get wealth? It is wisdom, it is discerning knowledge properly from the Lord and applying it practically. God wants us to be alert, awake and prepared.
Every believer has a gift or talent on loan from God. The Lord has placed in each one of us a passion, something that motivates us, a cause. If you don’t know what that is, ask the Lord to define that for you. Our minds need to be changed to believe God and believe what it takes to succeed. It all starts with the way you think. Proverbs 23:7 For as a man thinks in his heart so is he. It means that whatever you meditate or think about you become. God has laws that supersede human reasoning. The currency of God is faith. There is a law of attraction in this world. The Bible defines that as the law of sowing and reaping. If you sow good thoughts and speak faith-filled words you will reap a great harvest. You attract the totality of what you think and speak in this world.
The time is now. This is your time to begin to act upon your dreams. Procrastination is an enemy to dreams becoming reality. Maybe you have a vision of a business you want to start but have no idea how to start it. The Christian Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania is equipped to help you. You can’t do this alone. It’s going to take godly men and women invested in your success. This present-day move of God is a corporate one. All hands on deck are needed to build New Castle into a model city. With God all things are possible.
